Curated piercings and ear styling
We plan the whole ear before anything is pierced. Needle only, implant grade jewelry, and a healing timeline we will not sugar coat.
The approach
An ear is a composition
Most people come in wanting one piercing and leave with a plan for four. Not because we sold them anything, but because once you see where your ear can actually hold jewelry, the arrangement becomes obvious.
We start by looking at the shape of your ear, where the cartilage is thick enough to support a piece, and how the ones you already have are sitting. Then we map a sequence. Some of it happens today. Some of it waits until earlier piercings have healed, because piercing a swollen ear next to a fresh hole is how people end up with two that never settle.
You leave knowing what comes next and roughly when, whether that is in three months or next year.

Non negotiable
Needle, never a gun
A piercing gun cannot be sterilised properly, and it forces blunt jewelry through your tissue instead of making a clean channel. That means more trauma, more swelling and a longer heal. We use a single use, sterile hollow needle for every piercing we do, lobes included.
Single use hollow needles, opened in front of you and disposed of straight after.
Implant grade titanium or solid gold only for initial piercings. Nothing plated.
Bloodborne pathogen certified, with autoclave records you are welcome to ask to see.
Your first downsize appointment is included, not an upsell.

Swelling is normal for the first two weeks. Persistent heat, spreading redness or discharge that is not clear is not, and we would rather you messaged us early than waited it out.
The appointment
What actually happens
Allow about an hour for a single piercing, longer if we are planning a full curation. Eat first and bring photo identification.

We look at your ear
Before anything else. We check anatomy, existing piercings and how they have healed, then talk through what will and will not work. If a placement you want is not supported by your cartilage, we will say so.

Jewelry first
You choose your ends before we pierce, holding them against your ear so you can see the whole arrangement together rather than guessing.

Marking
We mark the spot and hand you a mirror. Move it, sleep on it, ask for it a millimetre higher. Nothing happens until you are happy with the dot.

The piercing
Fast, and over before most people finish exhaling. Initial jewelry is fitted slightly long to leave room for swelling.

Downsize, six to twelve weeks later
Once the swelling has gone the bar needs shortening, or it will snag and start to angle. This appointment is included in what you paid. Book it before you leave.
What it costs
Pricing, plainly
Piercings are priced as a service fee plus the jewelry you choose. The service fee covers the piercing itself, the aftercare walkthrough and your downsize appointment. Jewelry is priced separately because a titanium end and a solid gold end are not the same thing.

- Jewelry from implant grade titanium up to solid 14k gold, priced per piece.
- Your first downsize is included. Later jewelry changes are quick and charged at a small fee.
- Consultations to plan a curation are free, whether or not you get pierced that day.

Common questions
Before you book
Lobes are a pinch. Cartilage is sharper but brief, a few seconds at most. The part people find harder is the pressure beforehand, not the piercing itself. Eat something within a couple of hours of your appointment and it is a great deal easier.
Usually two or three cartilage piercings per session, and we spread them between both ears where we can. Lobes are gentler so more is fine. Putting four fresh holes in one ear means sleeping is miserable and the swelling from one affects the next, so we pace it.
For a fresh piercing, no. Initial jewelry has to be implant grade, correctly sized and sterilised in our autoclave, and we cannot verify material we did not source. Once you are healed you are welcome to bring pieces in and we will fit them for you.
Message us. Most irritation is from sleeping on it, changing jewelry too early, or a bar that needs downsizing, and all three are fixable. Come in and we will look at it. There is no charge for checking on a piercing we did.
Please call the studio before booking. Requirements differ depending on the piercing and the age of the person, and we will tell you exactly what identification and consent we need so nobody has a wasted trip.
