Who we are
Quiet work in a loud part of town
Old Town Scottsdale has no shortage of walk-in shops with a queue at the door and six machines running at once. We are deliberately the opposite of that.
One guest at a time, in a private room, with the door closed and the music at a volume you can talk over. It means we book fewer people, and it means nobody gets rushed so we can start the next appointment on time.
Most of the people who come here are women, and a lot of them are getting their first tattoo or their first piercing since a mall kiosk at fourteen. That informs everything about how the studio is set up, from the consultation to how much we explain as we go.
How we work
Four things we do not compromise on
We take our time
Appointments are booked with room around them. If your stencil needs moving nine times, we move it nine times.
We tell you the truth
If a placement will not age well, or a design is too small to hold its detail, we say so before you book rather than after.
Intention over trend
We would rather draw something that means something to you than the piece that is doing numbers this month.
You can always come back
Questions during healing, a piercing that feels off, checking in months later. Message us. There is no charge for looking at our own work.
Safety
The unglamorous part
This is not the exciting part of getting tattooed, but it is the part that matters most. Here is exactly how we keep you safe.
- Bloodborne pathogen certification, kept current.
- Single use needles and cartridges, opened in front of you and disposed of in a sharps container immediately after.
- Autoclave sterilisation for reusable tools, with spore testing and records you are welcome to ask to see.
- Implant grade titanium or solid gold only for fresh piercings. Nothing plated goes into healing tissue.
- Surfaces barriered and wiped down between every guest, not at the end of the day.

Who you will work with
The same person, start to finish
The studio is small enough that whoever replies to your first message is the person who draws your design, places your stencil and picks up the needle. You will not be handed between people, and you will not explain your idea twice.
That continuity carries through healing too. If something feels wrong in week three, you are messaging the person who did the work, not a front desk.
